Winnie the Pooh is perhaps the most well known of all bear names. Although this was the name of a genuine black bear it is now used to refer to a cuddly yellow bear dressed in a red shirt. In our family we name the bears after places we have been to - some we have Bearmuda - after Bermuda and Borispol after Borispol airport! The kids love it but its finding what they want and not making a choice for them.
